First of all, who is that insane to let himself freeze for more than 50 years? I mean, what do you want to achieve with it? I don't understand this crazy idea because first of all it costs a lot, I absolutely prefer to spend my money on things in my current life.
Secondly you're whole body gets injected with chemicals, which I think doesn't sound very healthy. As far as I know, people are just trying to avoid chemicals in our food and drinks.
One more reason to reject the offer in order to be frozen is that you will wake up and have no acquaintances around you. When you wake up out of your frozen condition 100 years later, your mom, dad, brothers, sisters or friends won't be there anymore. You'll have to do everything by yourself and have to pick up your life again. Maybe you have to study again, build up a family life, find work to earn money and get a new social life.
As they say in the short movie, we have a big problem with freezing our cells. It sounds very disturbed to me when a doctor would say: 'We will replace the liquid in your cells with a chemical cocktail.' What I'm wondering now is how they will change these substances again before you wake up. Or do you just have to live on with a chemical cocktail in your body? It all seems like a mystery to me and I'm not very interested in such scientific experiments. So I don't care if they will invent more crazy things like freezing yourself, I won't participate.
For me it looks very ridiculous to disappear for several years, because you can't go back in time ( but maybe by then they will have something invented for it) to tell everyone what is new or what you've seen. I am also very curious about our future, but I guess everyone wants to know if there is life after death or if scientists will discover life from outer space. But I'm just not that inquisitve and crazy to get myself locked up in a freezer for several years.
